Crazy Numbers: Apple Stores Have Had 300 Million Visitors So Far in 2012, 50,000 Genius Bar Visits a DayPosted by Alex Jordan on Aug 20, 2012 in iPhone News, Uncategorized | Comments Off
Proving my point from earlier, that Apple is still upward bound as a company, it is being reported via The Loop that Apple retail stores have seen 300 million visitors so far in 2012. This is across all 375 of Apple’s retails stores.
Also worth noting is the fact that 50,000 guests are helped at the store’s Genus Bars every day. I suspect that number dropped after Apple aired those dopey Genius commercials a few weeks ago (wink).
As a comparison, the total population of the United States now hovers around 311 million. I remember not too many years ago, when Apple was bragging that more people than the population of every state in the Union with the exception of California, had passed through their stores.
In short, it seems that opening retail stores was one of the best ideas the company could have implemented in the past decade. It is one of the reasons the company is doing so well today. I just wish an Apple Store would crop up in my town.
